With his sophomore solo album, Let's Dance Raw, due for release on September 16th (September 15th in the UK and EU ), former Yura Yura Teikoku frontman Shintaro Sakamoto has unveiled the record's title track, a dusty, shuffling number whose breezy musical nature asks you, in Sakamoto's native Japanese, to "dance to the raw conga," "dance some raw steps" and "shake, raw body to raw body, forever."

The song premiered on Noisey, who described it as sounding "like a long-lost breakbeat masterpiece, one that hip-hop producers would feel totally outraged about for appearing on the Dusty Fingers comp."

Exclaim!, who debuted "Let's Dance Raw" in Canada, named the track an "interstellar space jam," while for its UK debut, The Quietus pointed out its "dense Brazilian percussion and 70s American staccato guitar, grounded by vocal harmonies in Japanese, sees Sakamoto poised between distinct cultures."
