Boogarins Perform Free Show This Friday at NYC's Seaport Music Festival
Winding down an epic world tour that has seen the band crisscrossing the US, UK and Europe for months, Other Music Recording Co.'s own Boogarins are returning to the States for one last string of dates supporting their excellent As Plantas Que Curam before they head back to Brazil to finish up work on their next album. We hope you will join us for the group's first headlining performance in NYC -- and it's a pretty great one -- a free show this Friday, August 15th at South Street Seaport for the Seaport Music Festival, with the great Dutch psych-pop artist Jacco Gardner opening the evening. Obviously we love their recordings, but Boogarins' live show is an incendiary psychedelic meltdown that is not to be missed (check out this great live clip of "Docce" that BrooklynVegan premiered last week), so join us in Manhattan, or find the band on the road throughout August playing across the East Coast, Midwest and South, including a bunch of headlining shows, a run of dates with the Clean, and a couple with Guided by Voices.
